Skye Camanachd Duo Selected For North U17 Trials.

Skye Camanachd duo Martin Bruce and Paul MacKinnon have been selected for the North U17 trials which take place at Spean Bridge on Sunday 12 September 2010.

Martin Bruce has been playing for the Skye Camanachd first team in recent weeks whilst Paul MacKinnon plays for the Islander’s second team.

North U17 coach Michael Delaney has named a strong pool of players including Marine Harvest North U17 Player of the Year Greg Matheson from Lovat, Beauly’s Jack MacDonald, Fort William keeper Jack Fraser and Lochaber’s Danny Delaney, and Connor Sweeney.

The players will take part in a training session and match between 12.30pm and 4pm.

The annual North U17 v South U17 match takes place at the Dell, Kingussie on Saturday 3 October 2010.
