Farewell Celebration For Martha Ross.

Skye Camanachd and the Skye Camanachd Social Club have organised a farewell celebration for Martha Ross in the Skye Camanachd Clubhouse on Saturday 21 August 2010.

Martha Ross has been the Skye Camanachd Social Club Chair through the Social Club’s most successful period. She led a committee which included Janet MacVicar, Phil McCaherty, Ross Cowie and Donnie Martin and their efforts have completely turned around the Social Club’s fortunes.

Martha has also been a willing volunteer at Skye Camanachd events.

Martha stood down as Chair at this year’s AGM and she will be moving off the Island following her impending marriage to Murdo MacLeod.

The evening’s entertainment starts at 7.30pm and all Skye Camanachd players and officials are invited are as are the many volunteers who have work with Martha in the Clubhouse including the Bingo ladies and gents.
