| “It Felt Like A Defeat.” | |
| 09 August 2010 Skye Camanachd first team manager Aonghas MacDonald reflected on what could have been following his side’s 2-2 Marine Harvest North Division 1 draw with Inverness at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 7 August 2010. “A week ago we scored a late goal to earn a draw against Kilmallie and that felt like a win,” said MacDonald. “However this week we lost the late goal and this draw feels like a defeat.” “I thought we created plenty chances but our shinty could have been better. Out defence did ok in the main and we lost two of them before the end of the game. We just made it hard for ourselves. Inverness are a physical side and they use that to their advantage.” “There are positives to take though and Andrew Banks and Neil MacVicar did well with both being recent additions to the side.” Next up for Skye is a trip to Spean Bridge to play second place Lochaber on Saturday 14 August 2010. Throw up is at 2.30pm. | |
