| Skye Camanachd Boss MacVicar Pleased With Side’s Endeavour. | |
| 02 August 2010 Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar was pleased with his side’s endeavour following their 4-1 defeat to Glengarry in Marine Harvest North Division 2 on Saturday 31 July 2010. MacVicar said, “I was delighted with the endeavour shown by a team that finished with 7 teenagers, all aged 17 or under, on the field. I was really impressed with our U17 captain Daniel Morrison who put in a sterling performance at wing centre.” “There was disappointment after the game with the news that Darryl McIntosh’s thumb is broken in 6 places and this injury will bring a premature end to his season.” The Skye second string has another tough outing against reigning champions Glenurquhart at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 7 August 2010. | |
