Skye Camanachd Boss MacVicar Sees Good League Run Continue.

Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar saw his team pick up their 8th league point out of 10 with a 1-1 draw with Beauly in Marine Harvest North Division 2 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 17 July 2010.

“We went into the game without Martin Bruce, Stewart Grant and Ally MacDonald who were all called up to the first team and we played a Beauly side who were strengthened as they didn’t have a first team game so I have to be happy with a point,” said MacVicar.

“We had chances to add to our goal tally, but having said that, our defence played well, especially in the second half.”

“The point gives us a bit of momentum going into an important game against Kilmallie next weekend.”
