Camanachd Association Name Scotland U17 Squad For 2010 Ireland Tour. | |
20 July 2010 The Camanachd Association has named the Scotland U17 squad for the Ireland Tour 2010. National Youth Development Manager Ronald Ross has selected a 17 man squad for this year’s tour. Skye Camanachd’s U17 London Shield winning captain Neil MacVicar is included in the squad. He is joined in the squad by his cousin Sandy MacVicar of Kyles Athletic. MacVicar's Skye team mate Danny Morrison was also selected but is unable to travel because of work commitments. The squad also includes Marine Harvest U17 Player of the Year Greg Matheson. Oban Camanachd have 3 players in the squad whilst Fort William, Kingussie and Newtonmore have 2 each. The players will travel to Dublin on Sunday 25 July 2010 and return home on Wednesday 28 July 2010.
