| No Complaints From Shiel Camp. | |
| 27 June 2010 There were no complaints from the Kinlochshiel camp following their 5-2 Marine Harvest North Division 2 defeat to Skye Camanachd at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 26 June 2010. Neillie “Ach” MacRae looked after the team with player / manager Colin Fraser on the field. “We were at full strength today and we’ve no complaints,” he said speaking after the game. “Skye played better than us in every department and I thought their full centre Darryl MacIntosh was excellent. Danny Morrison, Allan MacKinnon and of course Aonghas MacDonald were great too.” “It’s a fantastic pitch here in Portree but the recent hot weather meant the ball played off it really quickly. I think Skye adapted better to those conditions than we did and a slower pitch may have suited us better. However we have had a good season so far and we’ll pick ourselves up and get on with the next game.” | |
