| MacVicar Disappointed To Lose Quarter Final Tie. | |
| 21 June 2010 Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar was disappointed to lose out to Kyles Athletic in the Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup quarter final at Tighnabruaich on Saturday 19 June 2010. “We travelled south with just a 2 substitutes because of a series of call-offs relating to illness, injury and work commitments. We then lost Magnus Burd to injury in the warm up which left up low on options,” said MacVicar. “The game was at 1-0 until 11 minutes from the end when they got their second but we just didn’t do enough in front of goal to get anything from the game. We never got enough shots on target and despite having a lot of possession; players too often chose the wrong option and didn’t take advantage of the brick hard pitch conditions.” | |
