Skye Camanachd Pass On Thanks To Beauly Shinty Club. | |
02 June 2010 Skye Camanachd would like to pass on their thanks to Beauly Shinty Club for their assistance when Skye player Ally MacLeod took unwell at the end of the MacTavish Juvenile Cup tie between the sides at Braeview Park on Tuesday 1 June 2010. MacLeod had just been substituted after receiving a blow to the elbow at the end of the game when he collapsed on the touchline. His father John MacLeod, himself a shinty referee, was present at the game. He said, “I can’t thank Beauly enough for their help when we waited for the ambulance to arrive. Beauly youth coach Innes Simpson and referee Jock Matheson were a big help during what was a worrying time. Thankfully Ally got the all-clear after being checked over at Raigmore Hospital and was allowed to return home later that night.” |
