Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar is looking forward to this week’s Marine Harvest North Division 2 match with Beauly after running Lovat close in last weekend’s Strathdearn Cup tie.
“We can take great heart from the performance against Lovat,” said MacVicar. “We just failed to get that wee bit of luck at crucial times in the game when a Skye goal could have made all the difference and we ended the game with 9 teenagers on the park, 4 of who still play for our U17 side which is encouraging.”
“I’d like to take the good points from this performance into our game a Beauly. We are on a run of away games at the moment and we don’t have a home league match until the end of June so we need to pick up some points on the road. The game will come too soon for David Grant but we will have Darryl MacIntosh back.”
