| MacVicar Pleased With First League Win. | |
| 18 May 2010 Skye Camanachd second team manager Davie MacVicar was pleased with the performance of his side following their 5-2 win over Newtonmore at the Eilan in Marine Harvest North Division 2 on Saturday 15 May 2010.
“It was our best performance of the season,” said MacVicar. “You have to remember that Newtonmore beat us 6-1 earlier in the season so this was quite a turn-around.”
“We were very creative up front and scored some good goals. Danny Morrison was fantastic and took his goals really well. Darryl MacIntosh gave us something extra and he rounded off a good debut with a goal.”
Its Col Glen next for Skye in the Aberdein Considine Sutherland Cup on Saturday 22 May 2010 and this could provide a selection headache of the right sort for MacVicar. “We’ll see what the first team requirements are for this week but it could be that we have Martin Bruce, Andrew Banks, Willie MacRae and Iain Morrison back in the squad so there will be plenty players to chose from.” | |
