| Aonghas MacDonald Reflects On Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Draw. | |
| 30 April 2010 Skye Camanachd first team manager Aonghas MacDonald has mixed views on this week’s Scottish Hydro Camanachd second round draw.
The Islanders have been drawn against Kilmallie at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree in shinty’s top competition on Saturday 22 May 2010.
“I’m pleased that we have a home draw,” said MacDonald. “However being drawn against Kilmallie is a tough tie and they beat us twice in Portree last season. The victories included a 3-2 Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup first round success thanks to a last minute strike from Kilmallie’s international forward John Stewart.
However MacDonald is clear where his team’s current priorities lie. “Our focus is firmly on this weekend’s MacTavish Cup quarter final clash with Fort William. It’s nice to have the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup to look forward but we will give that game more thought nearer the time.“ | |
