| 30 April 2010 The Camanachd Association AGM took place in Fort William on Friday 30 April 2010.
Donald Stewart was re-elected Director of Communications whilst Calum Duff was confirmed as Youth Director as was Charles Young as Club Development Director.
Competitions Director Richard Gall confirmed that there would be a review of the competitions structure and this will include discussion on resurrecting National Division 1.
Former Camanachd Association Secretary Alistair MacIntyre said that he felt that the volunteer structure which helped run the game during his tenure had been ruined.
Plans to introduce a technical area failed to get the required number of votes as did the move to increase the thickness of the pitch lining either side of the goal posts.
The late DR MacDonald was fondly remembered and the MacAulay Association’s Alan Hill was made a member of honour. | |
