| 27 April 2010 Portree High School took part in an U14 Shinty Sixes competition at Drumnadrochit of Tuesday 27 April 2010.
The Portree youngsters were one of eleven sides who took part in the tournament.
Portree competed well in their group and they were very unlucky not to qualify for the semi finals. They won 2 games, drew 2 games and only lost once to eventual winners Glenurquhart A.
Glenurquhart A beat Kingussie in one semi final whilst Glenurquhart B beat Charleston in the other to make an all Glen final.
Charleston won the third / fourth place play-off with Calum Morrison particularly impressive.
The Glenurquhart A team beat their B team in the final with Ewan Brady and Josh Fraser catching the eye. | |
