| MacDonald Reflects On Frustrating Afternoon. | |
| 28 March 2010 Skye Camanachd first team manager Aonghas MacDonald reflected on a frustrating afternoon following his side’s 2-2 draw with Caberfeidh in Marine Harvest North Division 1 at Castle Leod on Saturday 27 March 2010.
Skye won at Castle Leod last season but lost to Cabers in Portree so this away point could yet prove crucial at the end of the season.
“In many ways it was a frustrating afternoon,” said MacDonald. “We weren’t at our best and started slowly but we created enough chances at the end to win the game.”
MacDonald will be hoping that his injury crisis eases. “We were without recognised first team players John Moir and Kenny Campbell who are both injured and Ally MacLennan and Kerr Gibb were unavailable. I hope to have Kerr Gibb back for the Lochcarron game but Somhairle MacDonald will be unavailable. However these absentees provide opportunities for other players to come into the side.” | |
