Kyles Athletic have won their appeal against a 2 point deduction for failing to travel to Braeview Park, Beauly to play Kingussie in the Scottish Hydro Premier Division on Saturday 21 November 2009.

The match was switched to Beauly after Kyle’s Tighnabruaich pitch failed a pitch inspection and the game was moved north as no other south pitches were available.

Kyles felt that they had been unfairly dealt with in comparison to other league matches which have been called off during the season.

Kyles now finish on the same points as 3^rd place Fort William in the Scottish Hydro Premier Division but trail on goal difference.
