The Skye Camanachd second team will host newly promoted Beauly on the opening day of the 2010 shinty season.

The Marine Harvest North Division 2 clash at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 6 March 2010 will bring together the sides which met in last season’s Strathdearn Cup first round at the same venue. Beauly ran out 2-1 winners after extra time on that occasion.

This fixture starts a run of 4 consecutive home league matches for the Skye reserve side.

Following the Beauly fixture, they host Glengarry on Saturday 13 March 2010 and then Newtonmore in Portree a week later. They then play their fourth consecutive home league match against Lovat on Saturday 27 March 2010.
