Skye Camanachd will meet Lewis Camanachd in the first round of the Strathdearn Cup.

This all-island clash will create a lot of interest with Lewis having home advantage. The clubs are currently in discussions over a venue for the tie with Ullapool, Stornoway and Portree being options.

The tie will likely be played on Saturday 15 May 2010 as Lewis Camanachd are exempt from the midweek cup tie rule.

Skye’s Eoghan Stewart will pull on a Lewis Camanachd shirt for this tie.

The winners will meet Lovat who have a bye in the first round.

The Strathdearn Cup Final will take place on Saturday 4 September 2010.
