Lochcarron shinty club made a special presentation to committee member Anne MacCuish at their annual dinner dance on Saturday 20 November 2009.

The presentation was for all the hard work and commitment that Anne has shown to the west coast club over the years.

Anne was given a presentation silver pendant by Lochcarron club president Henry Dalgety.

Anne, who is originally from Struan on the Isle of Skye, was also presented with a bouquet of flowers from Skye Camanachd for all her assistance, especially in the youth shinty competitions.

To round off a special evening, Murdo Cameron from the west coast Cast Ewe Ceilidh Band wrote a tune for Anne which was played at the dance.
