| 18 November 2009 The Camanachd Association is liaising with the home clubs to monitor pitch conditions ahead of this weekend’s crucial Scottish Hydro Premier Division fixtures as there is a dreadful weather forecast for the south. Kingussie are due to travel to Tighnabruaich to play Kyles Athletic. This pitch was unplayable last weekend and there must be a big doubt over whether it can host the game this weekend. Newtonmore face a trip to Winterton to play Inveraray. This pitch was also unplayable last weekend. These matches will decide the outcome of the title race and the games could be switched to alternative venues if the home club pitches are unplayable.
