| 24 October 2009 The weather has already started to take its toll ahead of the fixtures on Saturday 24 October 2009. The biggest casualty is the Scottish Hydro Premier Division match between Inveraray and Newtonmore at Winterton as the pitch has been deemed unplayable. The top division match between Kyles Athletic and In Marine Harvest South Division 1, the big match between Kilmory and Glasgow Mid Argyll survived a 10am morning inspection but with heavy rain forecast for later in the day, both sides agreed to an earlier throw up in a bid to beat the elements and finish the game. The match should throw up around 1.30pm. The match between Inveraray and Tayforth is also off as the visitors cannot raise a team. The points are awarded to Inveraray. The Marine Harvest North Division 2 match between Newtonmore and Skye Camanachd is off as repair work is being carried out on the Eilan. The South Division South Division 2 match between Kyles Athletic and Glasgow Mid Argyll is postponed as Tighnabruaich is unplayable. The match between Col Glen and Taynuilt is off as the home side cannot raise a team. The points are awarded to Tayforth. | |
