The Camanachd Association has confirmed that the crunch Badenoch derby between Kingussie and Newtonmore will take place at the Dell on Saturday 7 November 2009.

Assuming this weekend’s fixtures go ahead, this will be the penultimate league match for both sides.

Reigning champions Kingussie travel to Mossfield this weekend whilst league leaders Newtonmore travel to Winterton to play Inveraray.

In their final league fixtures – scheduled for Saturday 14 November 2009 – Newtonmore travel to Spean Bridge to play Lochaber whilst Kingussie head for Tighnabruaich to play Kyles Athletic.

With 3 matches remaining, Newtonmore currently hold a 1 point lead over Kingussie in the league.
