The 102nd Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final between Fort William and Kyles Athletic takes place at Mossfield, Oban on Saturday 19 September 2009.
Fort William are the current holders of the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup after beating Kingussie 2-1 in last year’s final at An Aird thanks to a James Clark double. They are now looking to win the famous cup for the 3rd year in a row after beating Inveraray 3-1 at the Bught Park in front of a crowd of 4,000 in 2007. James Clark bagged a double and a Victor Smith strike cancelled out Garry MacPherson goal. The Fort also won the competition in 1991 and 2005.
The 2009 final throws up at 1.45pm and will be broadcast live on both television and radio. Television coverage will be on BBC2 Scotland and radio coverage is on both BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio nan Gaidheal.
