A liquid breakfast and before we know it flight AA 345 final call is announced.

It’s Philadelphia Airport for a wee stopachan, just $10/pint, and bill for 4 rounds is $500!

Arrive at San Francisco International in one piece – and are welcomed by the NCCC team in their big SUVs which swallow our luggage.

Whisked down to Palo Alto and deposited at our digs at world famous Stanford University.

Stanford's strict No alcohol policy is explained to the boys and they all nod in agreement.

Out for a welcome pint and pizza in Palo Alto.

Some of the boys order ‘Burger and Chips’ ……and are confused when their Burger on a bed of CRISPS arrives.

Finally get to bed at 1am which is 9am in the morning UK time.”
