Scotland U21 Shinty / Hurling Training Squad Announced. | |
17 August 2009 Scotland U21 Head Coach Donnie Martin has announced his training squad of 39 players for the 2009 shinty / hurling international against Ireland U21.
The squad was announced following trials in Skye & Wester Ross / Inverness-shire and Badenoch / Lochaber as well as at Dalmally in the South. The trials gave Scotland U21 Head Coach Donnie Martin and his assistants David Stafford and Ted MacDonald the chance to see the eligible players in action although players have been watched in club matches already this season.
The squad will be involved in a series of training sessions.
The squad will then be reduced to a final pool of 18 players with 2 reserves for the international.
