South Shinty Hit By Bad Weather. | |
15 August 2009 The South shinty programme has been particularly badly hit by the weather on Saturday 15 August 2009. The Scottish Hydro Premier Division match at Dalmally between Glenorchy and Inveraray is off. The much anticipated Marine Harvest South Division 1 match between Kilmory and Glasgow Mid Argyll does not go ahead as the field is unplayable. Both matches in the Marine Harvest South Division 2 are off. Those were the games between Glasgow Mid Argyll and Ballachulish and Glenorchy and Taynuilt. The Bullough Cup match between Lochside Rovers and Aberdour has been transferred to Aberdour. Both sides have agreed that the other Bullough Cup semi final between Kyles Athletic and Glenorchy can be played on Wednesday 19 August 2009. In the North, the Marine Harvest North Division 1 match between Kinlochshiel and The Marine Harvest North Division 2 match between Glengarry and Kilmallie is also off. The Marine Harvest North Division 3 match at between Beauly and Lochcarron does not go ahead as Lochcarron were unable to raise a team so the points will go to Beauly.
