Portree Primary School’s continue their mini shinty tour with match convincing win over a Beauly / Lovat select at Brae View Park, Beauly on Friday 17 July 2009.

This was a much improved Portree performance from the draw against Kingussie / Newtonmore the previous evening.

Angie Grant gave the visitors the lead after 5 minutes and Jonathon Laing doubled their advantage 5 minutes later. Connor Ross made it 3 an Angie Grant double completed his hat-trick and took the score to 5-0.

A double just before the break from Andrew Grant and Jonathon Laing made the half time score 7-0 for Portree.

A Will Cowie strike 5 minutes after the break was the only second half score and Portree became the first winners of an impressive Quaich.
