Skye Camanachd’s Marine Harvest North Division 1 match against Kingussie at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 18 July 2009 will go ahead.

There will be a minutes silence before the match following the sad passing of Margaret Ross, Struan. The Skye Camanachd Social Club will also be closed on Saturday 18 July 2009 as a mark of respect.

Skye Camanachd telephoned the Camanachd Association on Saturday morning to request that the match be called off but the Association phones were on answer machine. By this time Kingussie were travelling to the game and to be fair to them, the match will go ahead.  

The game throws up at 2.30pm and will be refereed by Graham Irving.
