Skye Camanachd 0 Kilmallie 4. | |
05 July 2009 Skye Camanachd’s title challenge took a dent when they were beaten by Kilmallie in their Marine Harvest North Division 1 match at Pairc na Laoch, Portree on Saturday 4 July 2009. Aonghas MacDonald stayed with the starting line up which played so well against Kinlochshiel the previous week but his side never reached the heights of that 6-0 win. All the goals came in the first half which left the Islanders a mountain to climb in the second period. There were few plus points for Skye with the exception of Steven Morrison who was excellent at full back and wing centre Jamie MacDonald. Skye stay top of the league but second place Kilmallie are now 5 points behind with 4 games in hand.
