| Scotland U21 Shinty / Hurling International Trials Begin. | |
| 29 June 2009 The trials for the 2009 Scotland U21 Shinty / Hurling international are about to begin. The first trial will be Skye & Wester Ross v Inverness-shire and this game takes place on Wednesday 15 July 2009. The venue has not yet been confirmed although moves will be made to see if the pitch at Drumnadrochit is available. This match will involve Skye Camanachd players including; Steven Morrison, Alan Palmer, Kerr Gibb, Jamie MacDonald, John Moir and Ally MacLennan. The trials will give Scotland U21 Head Coach Donnie Martin and his assistants David Stafford and Ted MacDonald the chance to see the eligible games in action although players have been watched in matches already this season. It is hoped the Lochaber v Badenoch select match will take place the following week but an exact date is yet to be confirmed. The South trials will follow in the weeks thereafter. The | |
