The MacTavish Cup quarter finals take place on Saturday 25 April 2009.

Derby rivals Lovat and Beauly meet at Balgate in the MacTavish Cup. The home side will be out to avenge their single goal defeat to their Beauly in the league earlier this season. Beauly are getting back to full strength and they will be particularly pleased to have Roger Cormack back at full back after what they felt was a harsh sending off against Inverness. Lovat will be without injured hit-man Martin Bell.  

Newtonmore will be without the injured Brian Cheyne and Danny MacRae as they take on Lochaber at the Eilan. The young Spean Bridge side will provide a stern test for ‘More and this match should be a cracker.

Glenurquhart face a difficult trip to the Dell to take on Kingussie in a repeat of last season’s MacTavish Cup Final. The Kings won an earlier league encounter at Drumnadrochit and Glen absentees including Paul MacKintosh, Aaron MacDonald and Andrew MacDonald will not help their cause.

Fort William take on Lochcarron at An Aird. The home side will be without the suspended Adie Robertson. The visitors have only played two games so far this season but the have been boosted by Darren Coyle’s two goal return in the win over Glasgow Mid Argyll last weekend.   

There is an Oban derby in the Glasgow Celtic Society Cup as Camanachd host Celtic at Mossfield.

Glasgow Mid Argyll travel to Bute and there is a local derby between Inveraray and Kilmory.

Glenorchy host an in-form Kyles Athletic side at Dalmally.

Skye Camanachd travel to Canal Park to take on Kilmallie in North Division 1. The sides met in the Camanachd Cup in Portree last weekend with Kilmallie running out 3-2 winners. Skye will be keen to make a better start to this league clash.

Strathglass will be favourites when they host Caberfeidh at Cannich. Cabers won a Camanachd Cup tie against Kilmory last weekend but the Strath have won both their legue matches this season scoring ten goals and only conceding one.
