North Skye's performance in the P4-5 National First Shinty Festival in Fort William on Saturday 21 March 2009 has become top billing on the YouTube website.  

The action from the final is exciting and dramatic. The match finished 3-3 after normal time with North Skye’s John Gillies scoring a hat-trick. In fact North Skye were moments away from winning the cup but Tomnacross hit a last minute equaliser.

The match went to goalden goal and it was heartbreak for the North Skye youngsters as Tomnacross scored the all important goal to win the competition.
