Tir Conaill Harps claimed the city bragging rights in their double header against Glasgow Mid-Argyll on Sunday.

Orla Coughlan hit a hat-trick as TCH won the National Division One match against their Glasgow rivals 4-1 at Yoker. Fiona Mathie was also on target for Harps, with Eleanor Fraser replying for GMA.

The result will be of particular interest to reigning champions Glengarry, who beat Tir Conaill in their opening fixture seven days earlier.

In South Central Division Two, Harps’ second team also had a hat-trick hero in the shape of Alison Barclay as they registered a 4-2 over Mid-Argyll’s reserve side. Roisin Campbell also netted for the winners, with Carolyn Whitten scoring for GMA.
