Skye Camanachd's 1990 Camanachd Cup winner John Angus Gillies has had a couple of match switches as he hopes to make his senior refereeing debut on Saturday 28 March 2009.

Gillies was originnally due to take charge of the Marine Harvest North Division 2 match between Kinlochshiel and Caberfeidh at Kirkton.

When this match was cancelled, Gillies was allocated the North Division 3 match between Beauly and Kincraig.

However this match also fell foul to the weather, so Gillies has been allocated the South Division 2 game between Taynuilt and Glasgow Mid Argyll.

Gillies has refereed a series of youth matches over the last 12 months and his performances have caught the attention of the Camanachd Association.

The match at Taynuilt throws up at 2.30pm.
