South Skye coaches John MacLeod and Keith MacKenzie have named their squad for the P4-5 National First Shinty Festival which takes place at the Nevis Centre, Fort William on Saturday 21 March 2009.

The Isle of Skye Primary Schools Camanachd representatives at the tournament are North Skye and South Skye as both sides won through from the local Skye event. They join 10 other teams who have also won through from local competitions from all over Scotland to contest the Primary 5 and under tournament.

The South Skye squad is;

Newtonmore Primary School is the reigning champion winning last year’s event in Perth. .
