Skye Camanachd forward Alan Palmer could be out for up to 6 weeks after breaking his thumb in the victory over Inverness on Saturday 7 March 2009.
The news is a blow to Skye Camanachd manager Angie Murchison ahead of this Saturday's Thomas Ferguson Cup match against Glasgow Mid Argyll.
Palmer came on as a substitute with around 20 minutes remaining and took a knock to the hand towards the end of the game. However he played on and even scored the fourth goal in Skye's Marine Harvest North Division 1 victory.
