Allan MacLeod has been named the 2008 Skye Camanachd first team Player of the Year.
MacLeod, from Staffin, has been a top performed during the 2008 season and his performances at buckshee back were a major factor in the club’s Balliemore Cup success.
He was also called up to the senior North squad for the annual match with the South at the Marine Harvest Festival.
MacLeod, along with Steven Morrison, Dougie Rankin and John Moir and keeper Jamie Gannon, will continue to keep the defence for Skye Camanachd in the season ahead.
