The Camanachd Association has set 22 February 2009 as the date for their Champion of Champions clash.

It has yet to be decided who will participate in the match or where it will take place.

It will likely be the Camanachd Cup holders against either the MacAulay Cup winners or the Marine Harvest National Premier League winners meaning Fort William, Inveraray and Kingussie are in the mix.

A Fort William v Kingussie rematch - a repeat of the 2008 Camanachd Cup Final - is likely to be the match that most supporters want to see.

It's been suggested that the game will take place in Glasgow with the possibility that Gaelic television channel Alba will show live tv coverage.
