Ballachulish and Inveraray will try again this weekend as they meet in the final shinty match of the 2008 season.

With the other outstanding matches written off as draws, this clash will determine who takes the final place in the 2009 MacAulay Cup.

Ballachulish and Tayforth are in contention for the MacAulay Cup place. Tayforth are on 10 points with a superior goal difference and Ballachulish are on 9 points. However a win for Ballachulish would see them claim the MacAulay Cup spot.

The final MacAulay Cup slot will eventually go to the side finishing 6th in the Marine Harvest South Division 1 as 4th placed Lochside Rovers and 5th placed Inveraray are second teams.

The match throws up at 1.30pm and the referee is Robert Baxter jnr.
