Skye Camanachd's 3 year sponsorship arrangement with drinks giant Carlsbreg and the local Isles Inn has come to an end and the club will shortly be seeking sponsorship for the 2009 shinty season onwards.

Discussions will be held with Carlsberg about the possibility of extending their support but the club is also be open-minded to alternative arrangements with other businesses.

Skye Camanachd's first official sponsors were local buiding contractors Portree Building Contractors and Suppliers (PBCS) and other sponsers have included the Edinburugh ased Caledonian Brewery and of course Carlsberg.

Such sponsorship arrangements are vital to the continued success of one of the game's more remote shinty clubs.
