The University shinty season starts on Saturday 18 October 2008.

The UHI has entered a team this season which brings the competition up to a respectable 8 teams.

Several Skye Camanachd players will be taking part.

Andrew Banks will be a great addition to the Dundee squad.

Skye Camanachd captain Gilleasbuig MacDonald, John Moir and Ally MacLennan continue to represent Glasgow University.

Strathclyde will have the services of Skye Camanachd’s Alan Palmer, Malcolm Moir and Kinlochshiel’s Calum MacLean.
