The North v South U14 and U17 matches take place at An Aird, Fort William on 5 October 2008.

The North U14 team to play the South for the Fraser MacPhee Trophy includes Skye Camanachd players Scott MacLeod, Ian Grant and Martin Bruce,who captains the North side. The U14 match throws up at 12.30 pm.

The North U17 side contests the Peter Black Trophy and their team includes Skye Camanachd’s Shockie MacLennan.The U17 match throws up at 2 pm.

The U17 players on show will also be competing for a place in the Scotland side which will take on Ulster in a shinty / hurling match at the start of November in Scotland.

Both North sides will meet in Fort William at 5.30pm on the Saturday and will have a training session with North coach Ronald Ross. They will stay overnight before contesting the games on the Sunday.
