The North Skye Sixes team put in some great performances at the 2008 North Sixes in Portree.

The North side, coached by Camanachd Cup winner Donne "Digg" MacDonald, has made terrific progress over the last few years.

They were pipped by St Marys for a place in the final by a single point and they had 4 wins, 3 draws and only a single defeat in their 8 games. They drew 0-0 with St Marys when the sides met.

John Gillies was the North Skye goal hero, scoring most of his side's goals.

There were no medals for a third place finish but Skye Camanachd are to commission a set of medals for the players to mark North Skye's success.
