There were a series of skills stations at the North of Scotland Sixes in Portree on Saturday 20 Septmber 2008.
Players from all the participating teams took part in keepy uppy, dribbling and the longest hit. Skye Camanachd U14 players Jordan Murchison, John Gillies and Ewen Forrest maned the stations along with U17 player Daniel Morrison.
It turned out to be a good day for Portree's Willie Cowie. Not only did he score the winning goal in the North Sixes final, but he also came out on top at all 3 skills stations, winning himself 3 Skye Camanachd shinty balls.
The youngsters also had the chance to "Beat the Bodach" which is a board set over a shinty goal with small holes through which you can score.
The board is named after Skye Camanachd 1990 Camanachd Cup winning keper Boadach MacKenzie and Banavie coach Victor Smith commented that the cartoon of Bodach on the board looked much slimmer than the man himself!!
