| Skye Camanachd Second Team Go Down At Fort William. | |
| 20 September 2008 The Skye Camanachd second team went down to a heavy 9-1 defeat in their North Division 2 clash at An Aird against a stong Fort William side. A goal from player/manager Davie MacVicar saw Skye only trail 3-1 at half time. However the Fort proved just too strong in the second half . Fort William's former Scotland international Willie MacDonald scored 5 whilst his former Scottish international team mate Derek Cameron scored a double. Skye's cause wasn't helped by injuries to Andrew Banks and Donnie Campbell, both which required hospital treatment. Skye's final match of the season will be a home match against Newtonmore in October 2008.
