Skye Camanachd first team manager Ally Morrison will stand down at the end of the current season.
This Saturday's visit to Drum na Drochit will end a successful 3 year period in charge of the top side.
A feature of his tenure has been the introduction of several quality young players into the first team.
His son Steven has slotted into the full back slot and is a recognised Scottish U21 international. John Moir has also been introduced to the side as has Jamie MacDonald. Ally MacLennan and Iain Nicolson are established regulars and this season has seen the introduction of Shockie MacLennan and Morrison's other son Danny.
Even older players such as Alan MacLeod have arguably played their best shinty during this time.
The highpoint was this season's Balliemore Cup success and he joins Ross Cowie and Angie Murchison as recent silverware winners whilst running the first team. He leaves a vibrant young side for his successor to take on.
Morrison also had 3 year's in charge of the Skye Camanachd second team prior to taking on the first team position.
The Skye Camanachd Committee will take time to consider their options before selecting Morrison's successor.
