Saturday's Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final will be shown live on BBC 2 Scotland television. Better still, why not make the trip to Fort William to see shinty's top spectical match live!
Coverage on BBC2 will start at 2.30pm and will include highlights of the morning U14 Development Final between Strathglass v Aberdour and the U14 MacMaster Final between Fort William and Oban Camanachd.
The match will also be covered on Radio Scotland in both English and Gaelic and online. The Sports Show at 4pm on Cuillin fm will also discuss the game.
Better still, why not travel to An Aird, Fort William to see shinty giants Fort William and Kingussie clash for the games premier prize. Fort William will enjoy home advantage and the also won the toss of the coin to use the home changing rooms. However Kingussie are on top form this season with 15 wins from 15 matches in the Marine Harvest Premier League.
Tickets are £10 (£8 with a Camanachd Association membership card). Younger fans will get in for £5 (£4 with a Camanachd Association membership card) and under 12s are free.
The Lochaber Pipe Band will play before the game and at half time and the Shinty Shop will have a stall at the event.
Skye Camanachd U14 A and Skye Camanachd U14 B teams just missed out on a final appearance. The B team came second to Strathglass as North qualifiers for the Development Final and the A team came second to Fort William as North qualifiers for the MacMaster Final.
Skye Camanachd's Willie MacRae is on the panel tasked to select the man of the match for the coveted Albert Smith medal. Willie was of course man of the match when Skye Camanachd won the Camanachd Cup in 1990.
