The Skye Camanachd U14 development team travelled to Inverness on Saturday 30 August 2008 to take part in the North Development League Finals. 

Skye opened the event with a convincing 7-1 victory over Kinlochbervie. They followed this up with a 2-0 win against Uist and a single goal win over Ardnamurchan. Their only blemish was a 4-0 defeat to eventual winners Strathglass in a match which the islanders could have won.

Coaches Ruairidh MacVicar and Eoghan Stewart will be pleased with how their team performed and with a bit more luck, it could have been Skye who went forward to the National Development Final.
