24 August 2008 Skye Camanachd host Kilmallie in North Division 1 in a repeat of the Balliemore Cup Final. The second team travel to Strathpeffer to face Caberfeidh. Skye have done well against Kilmallie this season winning 6-1 at Canal Park earlier in the season as well as the 3-1 Balliemore Cup victory. Manager Ally Morrison hopes Kenny Campbell will be fit to play after breaking a finger against Lochcarron and captain Gilleasbuig MacDonald should return after a work related absence. The second team have a chance to avenge their shoch 2-1 home defeat to Caberfeidh a fortnight ago and Davie MacVicar's side are in fine form after beating Lochaber 6-1 on Saturday. Defender Andrew Banks will be missing as he is off to university in Dundee which makes Neil John Campbell's return from injury all the more timely. Kieran Roberts is missing as he is attending a music festival. The under 17s don't have a game this week but the under 14s travel to Black Park, Inverlochy to face Fort William in the MacMaster Cup semi final (North Final). The winners will play the South qualifiers before the Camanachd Cup Final at An Aird, Fort William on Saturday 13 eptember 2008. |
