Skye Camanachd U14 B team host Lochcarron in a Development League match at Pairc nan Laoch on Friday 22 August 2008.

Skye are 5-1 up from the first game at Battery Park when a Willie Cowie double and further goals from Andrew Grant, Rammie Orr and Stuart MacSween gave them the win although the match was closer than the result suggests.

The winner goes forward to play in the North Development Finals. 

Skye Camanachd use this competition to give those players who are still in the later part of primary school and on first year in high school the experience of playing U14 shinty which they otherwise wouldn't get.

This gives the players a greater level of continuity as they develop from primary school shinty to the U14 B team and then the U14 A team. However it also means that the Skye U14 B team are generally younger than the teams they play against.

The side is coached by Willie Cowie and it is an intregal part of Skye Camanachd's youth development.

The match will be 9 a side and throw up is at 6.30pm.
